The panel discussions addressed the importance of a family acceptance and support for LGBT people. It’s aim was to raise awareness of the general public about the importance of family support in life of LGBT people. For the first time, parents in Montenegro talked in public about acceptance, issues related to sexuality of a child and manners in which they cope with them. Also, the panel discussion is one of the activities whose main goal is to support the upcoming Pride Parade which will be held on  2nd November 2014.

The Panel discussion was organized within the project “Supporting family, healthy children”, supported by the Ministry of Finance, i.e. the Commission for Allocation of the Part of the Revenues from Games of Chance. The project is implemented by NGO Juventas in cooperation with the Montenegrin LGBT association “Queer Montenegro”.
