The main aim of this part of the project was to contribute to the improvement of the knowledge and skills of LGBT people who participated and are still participating in the work of the “Together for LGBT Rights” coalition, but also in all other segments which include not only this project, but a complete human rights program, social and health care program at the organizational level. Capacity improvement is considered a good basis for establishing organizations that will deal exclusively with LGBT community issues.

Training for LGBT activists in the field of NGO management, project management and advocacy, as well as consultations in areas covered by trainings resulted in drafting a document in which community members defined their needs in different social areas, which served as a good basis for writing the National Plan to Fight Homophobia, but also in establishing an informal activist group called the “Queer Brigade”.
