Press conference under the “With True Values in the EU” campaign on the occasion of the 9th May, i.e. the Europe Day, on 8th May 2011 at the PR Center in Podgorica, the team of Juventas and CeMI announced a campaign on the ocassion of 9th May – the Europe Day.

The present media were greeted by: Ivana Vujovic (President of the Board of Juventas), Mensur Bajramspahić (CeMI), Marija Ružić (Juventas) and Lazar Ramović (Member of the group Jenny Blempro and the debate club of the secondary medical school from Podgorica). This is the first campaign of this kind in Montenegro, and it is implemented by about 400 high school and university students in all municipalities of Montenegro. Young people will have the opportunity to learn more about the EU integration process through public debates, sports events and artistic performances.

Freedom, democracy, respect for human rights, solidarity and the rule of law are common value principles of the European Union countries. On the path to a community of European nations, Montenegro will aspire precisely  these values, which connect all the countries of Europe and give Montenegro the right to aspire for membership in the EU. Identifying true values and acting in accordance with them contributes to the development of individuals, communities and the state. The campaign was realized in partnership with the Center for Monitoring and Research (CeMI) and NGO Bonum from Pljevlja, within the project “Enjoying European values for young people”. The project is funded by the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro.
