The project “Strengthening personal integrity of young people” is being implemented by NGO Juventas in partnership with ATAK. The project was funded by the Commission for the allocation of revenue from games of chance 2012.

The main objective of the project is to improve the personal integrity of young people in Montenegro from age 14 to 18 in terms of increasing their willingness to report corruptive acts in accordance with the law, while the specific goal of the project is to raise awareness of the importance of preventing the corruptive acts through 6 interactive theater workshops with at least 150 Montenegrin high school students.

The project is a new concept when it comes to the access of high school students to the education on some social issues - in this case fighting corruption, strengthening trust in state institutions and rule of law. All project activities use non-formal education methods in an innovative and creative manner - using interactive workshops which high school students and their lecturers will create, produce and act in them, and through videos to share created materials with their peers and also with future generations of students.

After receiving the recommendation from the Ministry of Education that they agree with the project implementation, theatre workshops will be held in the following schools:

  • Secondary Medical School, Podgorica,
  • Secondary School of Economica “Mirko Vesovic”, Podgorica,
  • Secondary Specialized School “Ivan Uskokovic”, Podgorica,
  • Secondary School of Electrical Engineering “Vaso Aligrudic”, Podgorica,
  • Secondary School of Civil Engineering “Eng. Marko Radevic”, Podgorica,
  • Grammar School “25. maj”, Tuzi.

Within the project “Strengthening personal integrity of young people” it is planned to create, print and distribute a brochure on corruption in education and strengthening of personal integrity, which will be distributed in all Montenegrin municipalities, as well as during the implementation of workshops.
