The project “Youth in Joint Action” implemented by Juventas from Podgorica and XY Association from Sarajevo, was funded by the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The main goal of the project is to promote a social cohesion among young people in the mentioned countries.

The basic idea is to strengthen the capacities of students' parliaments in secondary schools in Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will then carry out joint activities relevant to their communities.

In this project, five high schools from both countries participate in the following municipalities: Kolašin, Mojkovac, Bijelo Polje, Nikšić, Žabljak, Foča, Rogatica, Sarajevo Old Town, Mostar and Jablanica. In the initial phase of the project implementation, representatives of both organizations held meetings with school directors and parents of seminar participants, and signed memorandum of cooperation. All participants have received training on project writing. The couples were formed consisting of one school from Montenegro and another from Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will jointly write and implement projects based on problems they themselves recognized in their school.
