This school year, Juventas continues its traditional work on strengthening the capacity of students' parliaments in Montenegrin high schools, starting with the realization of the project “Gather the team!”. The project is funded by the Balkan Trust for Democracy  and will be implemented for 9 months starting on September 2012.

“Gather the team!” aims to establish and empower students’ parliaments in the following high schools:

Secondary Electrotechnical School “Vaso Aligrudic”, Podgorica

Secondary Mixed School “Beco Basic”, Plav

Grammar School “30. septembar”, Rožaje

Secondary Mixed School “Danilo Kiš”, Budva.

Five students from each selected school who are members of their student parliament will participate in the project. Through seminars and interesting lectures, they will be trained to write projects that will be created, written and implemented by them in their own schools. In addition, project participants will attend lectures on the importance of youth activism and youth participation in decision-making processes.

Guided by previous experience in similar projects, Juventas’s youth program deeply believes that the project “Gather the team!”  is going to achieve great success and show how young people can contribute to the development of their school communities and how important it is to be involved in the creation of youth policy in his country.
